Lyndon School Re-accredited as a Centre of Excellence

Lyndon School is delighted to confirm that, following a rigorous re-inspection that took place last month, the school has been re-accredited as an Inclusion Quality Mark- Centre of Excellence.

The decision to extend the accreditation followed a rigorous examination of the school in which, all aspects of education were fully explored.  The Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) provides schools with a nationally recognised framework to guide their inclusion journey.  The IQM team help schools evaluate and measure how they are performing; empowering them to improve and grow.

Inclusion promotes equal opportunities for all pupils, whatever their age, gender, ethnicity, attainment and background. It pays particular attention to the provision made for, and the achievement of, different groups of pupils within a school and any pupils who are at risk of disaffection and exclusion.

Mr Abid Butt, Principal:

“I am delighted that Lyndon School has been re-accredited as an Inclusion Quality Mark-Centre of Excellence and that the inspectors noted that we are working hard to ensure that our mission statement of -Strength through Diversity; Ambition through Challenge; Excellence through Curiosity- is embedded in the whole school experience for all students.”
