Julian Knight came to Lyndon to hear about the work Lyndon has done to become a Silver Rights Respecting School. Lyndon was awarded the Silver award in December after putting together work that children had completed over the last two years in campaigning for children’s rights. This included the Send My Friend to School Campaign that that all year groups took part in designing what makes the perfect education which the UNICEF Ambassadors then took to 10 Downing Street to show their commitment to every child across the world to have a right to education.
Julian was impressed with the passion and commitment shown by the students and their interest in the variety of work Julian does in his constituency. Who knows maybe we have future ministers in the marking at Lyndon!
