Please note: From 2014 onwards both the DFE and Ofsted will be reporting the key performance measures based on first entry for any examination, rather than final entry, which more importantly shows what the students actually left with at the end of the key stage.
We are an improving school:
Lyndon school are delighted to announce significant improvements within their results after only one year as part of the Ninestiles Academy Trust. The proportion of Lyndon students achieving 5 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English and Maths has continued to steadily increase with students who gained 5 and 8 GCSEs at grades A* and A doubling from 2015.
There have been outstanding improvements in Science with results nearly doubling in Double Science and Triple Science now consistently performing close to the national with 100% of students achieving A-C in Physics.
Other subjects including I.T, P.E and Dance all produced outstanding results too with Modern Foreign Languages delivering a third year of outstanding outcomes. Specific congratulations to Isa Idris who was Lyndon’s highest achiever with 11 GCSEs at grades A* and A, plus a grade A at AS level in Religious Studies. Other high achievers who all achieved 8 or more A* and As included Lule Abdullahi, Alexandra Birch, Alex Campbell, Daniel Cooper, Ella Cooper, Shivum Desai, Poppy Goddard, Hasina Iqbal, Victoria Long and Chloe Wright.
We have continued to raise the aspirations of our students, with over 99% of students leaving having secured a positive destination in further education.
