Key Stage 3 Curriculum

A new Key Stage 3 curriculum has been planned across all three secondary schools in the Trust. This is significantly different to anything that has happened in the past. The curriculum has been designed to provide students with exciting learning opportunities that engages them in a wide range of subjects, developing their knowledge and understanding, building upon their KS2 experience and preparing them for the new, reformed GCSEs at KS4.

Geography

Religious studies

Modern foreign languages (French/Spanish)

PE

Computer science

Creative – a rotation of creative studies including art, drama, food, music and technology.

 

 

In addition, all students engage in an extensive programme of PSHE and SMSC through tutor activities, Aspire and assemblies. There is also a wealth of extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities available for students throughout their journey at Lyndon.
