Key information about subject:

Lyndon School provides an excellent platform for Year 7 students to enthuse them and acquire the skills needed to complete practical work in all three fields of Science. The KS3 curriculum is tailored to provide the students with an insight into all basic concepts of Science which they are able to build on and develop in KS4.

At Lyndon, we teach KS4 Science according to the AQA specification. We greatly emphasise practical work in lessons to develop the skills of students alongside a secure theoretical knowledge. The GCSE course runs over three years, from Year 9 to Year 11, to maximise the student learning experience.
