Pupils from Lyndon school had a lesson in finance thanks to training from Coventry Building Society branch managers.
The 300 students, aged between 16 and 16, took part in a series of money management lessons and games organised by branches including Solihull, Shirley and Chelmsley Wood. The initiative provided our students with a basic introduction to subjects such as mortgages, savings and fraud prevention.
Pupil, Lauren Holt, 15, said: “The money matters workshop was really informative. It was good that a building society came in to tell us how to best save for things that are important for us in the future like driving lessons.”
